We have been commissioned as long standing retailers of Faberge jewellery to offer this outstanding pre-owned piece. This exquisite item is in excellent condition with only a very few ever produced worldwide.
This is a stunning 39.6mm x 39.6mm circular 18ct yellow gold locket weighing 23.8g
The front of the locket is in two shades of blue guilloche enamel and an inner pale emerald green enamel section.
Within the layers of clear enamel are 18ct yellow gold fleur-de-lis designs.
The coloured enamels are separated by a row of brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.26ct.
To the centre of the locket is a cabochon cut 0.75ct circular ruby of a vibrant colour. There are also diamonds set into the loop fitting for a chain.
This rare and beautiful locket opens to hold two 21.0mm diameter pictures and is number 87 of only three hundred ever produced worldwide. The piece dates from 1997.
This masterpiece of fine enamelling captures the spirit of Carl Faberge's vision of style and avant-garde.
